My experience

The Royal Palm Villa Hotel in Ubud Bali has been chosen in one day after a bad experience in another hotel for the X time. So I opted for a new strategy, which was visiting a room before paying such I was fed up to pay and then be disappointed about the place I have chosen. The day before checking in I have visited a room in order to have an idea and I was completely amazed by its architecture, furniture, and facilities.  This hotel has been very heartbreak especially because it is not my habits of staying in those kinds of hotels.

The Royal Palm Villa Hotel

This hotel is situated in the corner of Jalan Monkey Forest about 5 minutes by foot to Monkey Forest. It is well situated because not far from this hotel there is a supermarket called Coco Market and also a French bakery called Monsieur Spoon where there are delicious French pastries.

This hotel has several villas in which they are four rooms (two upstairs and two downstairs). A wall surrounds each villa in order to preserve privacy. The room is quite big with a huge outside bathroom with a shower and a bath surrounded by vegetation, so lovely! The decoration is very nice, you feel like at home such is very well decorated with modern furniture. The best facility is the private swimming pool for the four rooms. Great!

This hotel has no breakfast included but there are many restaurants, cafés and bars outside of the hotel to find a place where to have breakfast.

Sometimes there is noise from the Aussie bar next to the hotel, which is connected to the hotel but otherwise, this is a quiet place.

There is free Wifi.

Why do I recommend it?

I highly recommend this hotel for its comfort and its location in Ubud. It is well situated especially if you come from Denpasar because one of the main roads arrive near to the hotel.

This hotel is situated between two streets in Ubud, which are Jalan Hanoman and Jalan Monkey Forest where shops are numerous.

Furthermore, for yoga’s fan, there is Yoga Barn not far from the hotel.
