Marrakesh – Morocco
Jardin Majorelle Marrakesh
When I arrive in the Jardin Majorelle, I found it was peaceful and especially beautiful. I visited many gardens as beautiful as each others, but this one was particularly so different. It had like a soul hidden in every corner and in each flowers, trees and others shrubs living in this garden. I was standine there for a while such it brings you peace and I must say that after a visit’s day in centre, this is the right place to take a rest and admire flowers and plants decorating it.
Jardin Majorelle is situated in Marrakech outside of Medina.
This garden belonged to Jacques Majorelle who was a French orientalist painter. He bought a huge plam grove that is going to be a garden under name of Jardin Majorelle.
This is a place where Yves Saint-Laurent loved to take a break. He liked this place in remembrance of its birthplace, which was Algeria and may explain his affection for Marrakech that permitted him to remember again Maghreb’s flavors and odors from his childhood.
This Jardin Majorelle has something different as any other gardens; it represents beauty, peace and history. Beauty for all flowers and plants that decorate it; Peace come from birdsong that are living in this garden; History coming from life of Mr. Yves Saint-Laurent who has spread through it of his energy and personal stories.
While your visit colours that enhance each nook of Jardin Majorelle Marrakesh will amaze you. Obviously exotic flowers founded in this garden are part of this decoration as well.
I could resume this visit by telling that is an oasis of calm such it really is. Finally, colours lovers will be amazed by this is place. Now, this is your turn to visit this wonderful garden.
