Bangkok Bed & Bike Hostel

My experience

It was my second time in Bangkok Bed & Bike Hostel in Bangkok. I chose this accommodation because it is only 10 minutes by foot from Wat Pho and Grand Palace, and 15 minutes from Khao San Road. I needed to be near to those both places because I registered at Wat Pho Medical School in order to learn Thai Message. So knowing already this hostel for having been for the first time in 2016 for Thai massage as well, I decided to go back. I found again my footing, and my habits by coming to this hostel, I was not lucky to stay in a dorm where it was so noisy because of the traffic’s noise, but apart from this, I was glad to find again this place discovered in 2016 while it was my umpteenth visit to Bangkok.

Presentation

This is a really great hostel situated near to the Wat Pho and the Grand Palace (about 10 minutes by walk) and 15 minutes by walk to Khao San Road. Chinatown is also near to the hostel (about 6 minutes by bus).

In this hostel, you can stay either in dorms, which is less expensive like in all hostels, or you can stay in a room. They also provide a great western breakfast in the morning, and snacks all day. There is free wifi all around. Their hostel is very well maintained both in dorms and in bathrooms.

The staff is really nice and very helpful. There is a possibility to rent a bike and go cycling in the daytime or at night. It could be a nice way to explore Bangkok differently especially by night.

I highly recommend this hostel for its situation especially if you want to visit the Wat Pho, the Grand Palace, and Wat Arun. Khao San Road for whom would like to go is not far from the hostel about 15 minutes by walk.

Personally, I won’t hesitate to go back to this hostel for my next stay in Bangkok.
